Are u for Germany? If so u should have submitted ur credentials and other documents to Daad scholarship last month in line with the PTDF partnership policy with Germany.
So this week was a letter sent by the German daad scholarship notifying German scholars whether accepted or rejected.

U can apply for courses like Biotechnology, biochemistry, occupational safety etc

Please I want to clarify an issue. I heard that each year, PTDF usually sponsors the best graduating student of the department that PTDF are funding. (PTDF upgraded Universities like ABU, Unimaid, Unijos, UI etc).
Please does anyone here have information about it?

Congrats to everyone who made it. I just got a mail from DAAD this evening that I wasn't shortlisted.

I have decided to learn deeply from this. I believe I qualified for the shortlist at least. I finished with a strong 2:1, and I have old school mates who aren't as brilliant as I am but who have enjoyed/are enjoying one scholarship or the other.

I therefore plead with any of the successful applicants to assist in drafting a statement of purpose(I have always had issues with this) and maybe explain one or two more things to me.
I would really appreciate this as I believe it would go a long way in the future.

Very valid points you have raised there. Trust me, I am not in any way trying to be proud or something(what's there to be proud about in the first place sef). That is why I have decided to seek help in maybe a few areas where I might not have been faring well. And yeah, I know God's grace is important, cos only that Grace has brought me this far in life.

But don't you think if I get to learn one or two things from successful applicants here, that Grace would do even much more? I apologize if I sounded proud, it was never the intention. Talking about my friends, trust me I know what I am saying.

It is nice that PTDF has started sending scholars to Germany. I have lived and schooled in Germany for the last couple of years and i would like to infact say that no PTDF scholar should for any reason choose a Fachhochschule or Technische Hochschule. The German higher education system has three types of Universities in the following order:
1) Technical Universities & normal Universities
2) Technische Hochschule
3) Fachhochschule

Attending technische Hochschules' and Fachhochschules' puts one at a disadvantage during job search. Employers do not explicitly state that however the reality on ground states that. If one opts for a PhD after Msc one would be required to take a preliminary semester before one commence the PhD.

If you're coming here for hustle related stuffs technische Hochschules' and Fachhochschules' are the best however if you are coming here with the aim to get a professional job technische Hochschules' and Fachhochschules' are a NO NO .

PTDF scholars please ensure to attend Technical Universities & normal Universities and not otherwise.
