In an act of sheer bravery, this young Nigerian got into a burning Toyota Prado SUV, in a fire scene, and drove it away from further damage.

This event occurred earlier today at a building on Engineering Close, off Idowu Taylor street, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The inferno was reported to have been caused by some individuals who resorted to refueling a power generator directly from a fuel tanker while the generator was still on.

Thankfully, there was no case of human casualty.

Indeed, this young hero deserves some accolades.

The guy must be a Nairalander, just to gain popularity. If he had died as a result of his action they will say Nature is bad. Why the hell will you nurse such a daredevil and insanely idiotic thought.

I wonder why people will think of taking fuel directly from a tanker a fuel a running generator. It's even written in most generators I have come across Don't Not Refuel While The Engine is On

This is a stupid act of bravery cos nobody was in immediate danger...Secondly Some Nigerians need to be in psych ward...

there is no iota of heroism in this stupid act.

it is stupidity of the highest order, plain and simple

typical Nigerian who values property than his life.

The same people applauding his heroism will be the very people condemning his fatuousness

I just dey reason the thing, despite the front grill and bumper melting from the heat of the fire, this guy unlocked the car, ignited it and reversed it. This is no bravery. It's pure stupidity . Life is more important than material things

And what happened to Safety First Fire extinguisher would have solved this Act... He should ThankGod because today is his Lucky day! Let this also serve as a lesson to the ignorant ones who will choose to pull such stunt next time, they might just not survive.
