Reporters at the scene of the burnt school observed that the suspected hoodlums set fire on the block of classroom, totally razing one classroom to the ground. One of the students Marian Suleman, an SS3 student, said that students got to school on Wednesday morning to discover that the newly built block has been set on fire overnight. “We have been waiting for the inaugurationscheduled for today (Wednesday), only to discover this,” Sulemam said Recall that suspected thugs had, on Tuesday, warned Melaye against visiting Kogi State, warning that he was not welcome for any reason.
