You lied. A Catholic priest can't just preach whatever he likes, the preaching is usually in accordance with the readings of the day.

I am not lying my dear, I was there, I saw and heard. Meanwhile don't try to defend any priest cos t he y are humans too. I respect the Catholic Church for their organisation so don't think I m tryna run dem down.

I'm not defending any priest, I'm just telling you what is applicable. Homilies in the Catholic church is according to the readings of that day. Unless maybe they were doing fund raising for a project the day u attended. Monies recovered in Catholic churches do not belong to the priest except Offering money and he is obliged to give a percentage of the money to his diocese.
