Hi, I have an infinix hot 5 which i connected to a wireless network in my office but recently, the phone connects to the wireless but will not upload or download data, in other words it doesn't browse but it is connected to the wifi network while my system is connected and browsing with super fast speed.

What could be the cause and how do I solve it?

This one didnt work for me.


My case is not that of speed, it is not browsing at all.

1. restart your phone and reconnect to the wifi
2. incase you tried 1 and it doesn't work go to setting, select wifi, on the wifi once its on look at the top right corner of your phone you will see 3dots lined vertically, select it and choose advance from the option. read through to confirm if you have MAC address with some number under it. IPv4 address with some number under it and IPv6 address with some number under it. if you do. try option 4
4. restart the wifi/mifi router
5. check for updates on your phone.

if there is no new update

Reset your phone

Clear cache of your download Manger in settings
