Out of the 11 aspirants that were successfully screeneed by the leadership of the People's Democratic Party in Osun state, only four of them will be contesting the party ticket today at the primary election in Osogbo.


Amiloaded gathered that the other seven aspirants had stepped down for one chosen aspirant or the other.


The four governorship aspirants are:


Rt. Hon Rafiu Adejare Bello, former Speaker, Osun House of Assembly.


Senator Ademola Adeleke, a serving Senator representing Osun West Senatorial District


Dr. Akin Ogunbiyi, CEO of Mutual Benefits Assurance.


Fatai Akinbade, a former State Chairman of the PDP and former Secretary to Osun state government.


One of them is expected to fly the party flag at the end of the delegate system of primary election today.

Don't see any credible candidate that can defeat APC there. Mean while, what's up with Omisore? Is he not contesting again, he's the only one that can compete with APC.

You know the awkward thing about Nigeria politics, we create powerful people who seek worshiping from the citizens and fail to develop powerful legacy.
Are these the best candidates out there? What powerful legacy have they created that deserve a shot at leadership of such magnitude?
In desperation to wrestle power from failed governments we give leadership to wrong people bearing opposition flags thus continuing the cycle of failure, sufferings, and deterioration.
So many Nigerians are too shot sighted to see real developments that they get carried away by powerful names and toss out individuals with fine blueprints and evident success. Worse is it’s a plague in the mentality of many that the older the wiser not knowing that the governance is not about age but selflessness.

Are you APC or PDP supporters? Remember that you are firstly a Nigerian and political parties are designed to divide you against your fellow country man. And also remember that you are still a bottom feeder because after electing these failures, only them and their children gets full dividen of democracy or should I say lootocracy while you are highly inconsequential to them.
