A young man was beaten mercilessly after he was caught allegedly stealing along Abak-Uyo old road in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state. According to reports, the suspect was nabbed red handed by a resident before an alarm was raised and the ground gathered.

It was revealed that the mob were about to lynch him as at the time of posting the report.
