Ahmadu bello university, zaria reportedly ban male&female hugging within the school premices as two student got rusticated after they were caught hugging each other in front of the school senate building.

Last month, Ali kiba from theatre arts hugged Tamara from Archeology dept and it's reported that she became pregnant..... That is why the ban was imposed

I guess it is part of the sharia influence.

This is worse than private schools with strict rules. They are taking the constitutional rights of all students away irrespective or their religion whereas private schools do theirs based on agreed scriptural interpretation both the school and student share in common.
