You realise Chad has been caught several times smuggling weapons to Boko Haram. They also scammed the Nigerian government into a fake ceasefire deal that was nothing but a ruse to buy Boko Haram time to replenish. That said, on the Chadian army it all depends on the terrain. The Chadian military is not particularly a formidable conventional army in the traditional sense.They do not have the economy of scale to build a professional conventional army, and they dont need to. France fills up that gap with its 3 military bases in the country. They are a desert army. their doctrine is centered around desert warfare due to their topography, so in this regard you are correct.

mtchew....is this not the same Chadian army buhari dealt a big hit in 1983 when they attack us at lake Chad...buhari led the counter attack and was even pursuing them near 15miles of their capital ndjamena...until sagari called him to order.....

The present and Future rules the world.Nigeria was well revered during the ECOMOG as one of the most dreaded, organised, formidable Army in the world before we were plagued by Greedy GOC's , Selfish, and Blood Sucking Generals. Can he try that again Now Definitely you know the answer yourself.
