it is very sad to note that fans of modern hip hop music in nigeria are always at loggerheads, even though I am not calling for a truce but let us just take a moment to show them love whether or not you are a fan, just give them the respect of making nigerians happy in hard times and taking nigerian music to another level

Psquare: they made nigerians believe that musicians can make it and they also made clubs fun those days, they also made being twins way cooler than it was

Tuface: he made people believe in love and calmness, he made people believe being cool isn't being stupid, he also made people realise that being from a minority tribe doesn't limit success in music

D'banj: he made people also like yoruba music mixed with english and pidgin, he made people happy by singing songs that are funny, he was also a big boy and gave music that made big boys of those days happy

Olamide: you may hate him for being local but you can't take away the fact that he has massive following in nigeria, no wonder he moves with big politicians. respect him for making people believe in indigenous rap and music even though he wasn't the progenitor, he took it to greater heights and also built and made stars. his colleagues talk about his kindness. slangs originated by him still reign supreme on the streets

Wizkid: he may be the rival of your fav or you may not just like him but still you can't take away his achievements and success, he made people also believe in youth and love, his fine face even makes your girl happy

Davido: call him a noise maker or spoilt brat, you actually know that he has enjoyed staggering success considering his time span, he is probably the faster singer in nigeria to hit super stardom, he made people believe that love shouldn't be based only on money even if you are rich and also, he made people see music as not a poor man's thing, plenty rich and respected people now allow their sons do music cos of him

Do not get offended if your fav musician isn't there, these guys here have attained mass following despite the tight competition in naija music
