It's not true, that people defected to other party doesn't result to political victory in most cases. Not to talk of the fact that majority of the national assembly members have no grass root clout to determine voting pattern. Over the years, most of them ride on the back of the winning party to win and not because of the masses support they have. This is why Somebody like Omisore won senatorial election even with the allegation hanging on him over the killing of Ajibola Ige.
