Most anti buharists have always adduced that yaradua winning buhari means any northerner will defeat buhari.they seem to forget that the late yaradua had a lot of factors working for him which none of the present pdp candidates has.
Firstly,yaradua was contesting against buhari on paper and theoretically but in actual sense,buhari was contesting against obj the master rigger.he singlehandedly picked yaradua,took him round the country and campaigned for him.obj took the election as if its his own.buhari had no chance.
Secondly,most governors were supporting yaradau heavily.sahara rsporters had it that a month to the polls,inec and obj already rigged the polls especially in the south.ballot boxes were pre-stuffed and votes were long allocated.the few anpp governors with buhari were not even fully supporting buhari.right from 1999,governors support determines who becomes president.
Thirdly,yaradua was from a prominent northern family.his brother shehu yaradua was a prominent personality in the north and well respected with massive following.atiku was a follower.he was instrumental to late abiola's victory and helped stabilize the military rule of obj.the north saw it as a duty to bring his younger brother to power to honour him.none of the pdp northern candidates can boast of such background and northern support.
Again,the election was massively rigged.it was the most rigged polls in nigeria's history.even the Late yaradua acceded to this.maurice iwu and inec's body language confirmed this.up till now,inec have not released the full details of the polls.state by state results were never released to show how shoddy and badly rigged it was.inec only released the results of a few states and suspended further release.in several states,results were announced even before voting started.
Additionally,the power of incumbency worked in pdp's favour.both obj and yaradua were incumbents and utilized federal mights.
Finally,buhari concentrated all his efforts and campaign in the north.he neglected the south.he had no southern allies,had little funds and his structures were limited.the anpp was on a freefall.on the other hand,the pdp hadwider reach and rigging power.buhari's votes in the south were suppressed and deflated while pdp's votes up north were increased.

None of the current crop of pdp candidates can boast of the factors or advsntages the late yaradua had.shekarau contested in 2011 but was heavily defeated in the north by buhari.even attahiru bafarawa contested in 2011 and didnt get up to a million votes.the only northerners that can divide buhari's northern votes are emir sanusi,the sultan and dangote.atiku is heavily overrated

Your overrating these guys.atiku had 2 million votes in 2007,he couldnt win any state.in 2015 primaries,he came 3rd behind kwankwaso.atiku since 2003 has never been in control of adamawa.buhari won adamawa by 100,000 votes.buhari has always won kano with or without kwankwaso.he only added 300k votes.buhari has always won sokoto.tambuwal was not in control of sokoto then,wamakko was and still is so minus tambuwal.finally,let me add kwara for you.buhari won kwara because of saraki by about 150,000 votes.if you minus all tgese votes from buhari's tally,he would still win.tinubu contributed more than all these men combined.none of these men have any mass grassroot support excrpt kwankwaso in kano only and saraki in kwara.
Finally,all of them are interested in pdp ticket.it will be a bitte fight and would divide them.

Let me answer your first question.he didnt win in 2011 because no governor was supporting him,he concentrated in the north alone.his biggest allies down south was tunde bakare,tony momoh and osita okey people that have no electoral value.he had little or no finance also.the support of atiku,tambuwal or rabiu without tinubu would have done notging.
In 2015,all these changed.he even won with little suppirt in the ss/se.he only had okorocha and ngige in the east and amaechi and umanah umanah in the south south.right now,apc has bridged that gap boastin g of more bigwigs than pdp in imo,anambra,abi,enugu,cross river,edo akwaibom,rivers
.many of them use to rig for pdp.in the quest to divide northern votes,southern votes will be divided.pdp has 26 senators in the south,apc has 20.
As for your delta,omo agege and ogboru will deliver delta central,emami ayiri will deliver warri which should give buhari at least 30%.

Buhari cant even win the OP in a free and fair election.
We are no longer debating if Buhari will win the elections or not but if he will allow the correct results to be announced and if he doesn't how do we go about it
