Been considering getting a car lately, my first actually, and I am considering any of Altima, Maxima or Honda.
I am under 25 if that matters and pocket isn’t a bottomless pit too, but I have enough for something decent.

Which would you gurus advice I get?

And I should mention I just want to use this car until the end of the year, then get a brand new one in 2019, I just want to use this one to get some experience so to speak so I’d be buying a Nigerian used one.

Please I need facts, don’t recommend a car because of some personal bias. Thanks.

why not go for Toyota, Nissan is good though likewise honda, but can't be compared with Toyota products i n everything. I have used Nissan, Honda and using Toyota now.

Give me a single reason why he should use Toyota instead of Nissan and Honda.

Go for the Nissan Altima. it is a better fuel saver and cheap to maintain than the Maxima.


For Honda cars, I advice that you settle for a Civic instead.


If I were in your shoes, the Nissan Altima with 4 plugs will be my choice

May I know why you think the Civic is better.

In terms of maintenance, the Civic is cheaper esecially those built during the fifth generation (1992-1995) and sixth generation (1996-2000). They are super fuel savers too.

Go for Toyota corolla ...You can never go wrong. The parts is cheap, the fuel consumption very low , very rugged in Nigerian roads and above all it has better second hand value. I have two for sale now the price ranges from 1.3m to 1.350m. Make yiur choice according to yiur pocket.

That's why I don't like pictures. You cannot say this if you 've seen them physically for instance take a look at this. Can you in all honest claim this car has been used many years. Ask experts with the number plate you don't need to be told is close to tokunbo...

With good bargain you can get the following Camry 2003 or 04...aka big daddy, Camry 2000 or 2001 aka drop light. You can even get eod honda ...2003.....but if you up it the sky is your limit

Someone I know has one big daddy but he is asking for 900k. But you have to come with a good mechanic to take a look at it very well. I am not about Money but customer satisfaction.

I don't have a problem with you selling your cars, my problem is your wrong advise based on gossip, assumptions and fallacies.

Toyota parts aren't cheap, it's only fake Toyota parts that are cheap.

The fuel consumption of the 2006 Toyota corolla is in the same category as the 2006 Honda Civic. Corolla is 36MPG and Civic is 35MPG.

The Honda civic is also rugged but doesn't like careless drivers who abuse their vehicles. Corolla drivers abuse their vehicles and use fake parts to compensate for their carelessness.

Corolla has a higher resale value because it is in hot demand both by thieves and legitimate buyers. That's why it's the 3rd most stolen car in the world.

The OP stated that he wants Nissan or Honda. I need you to give me technical, scientific reasons why he should buy a Toyota instead of Nissan and Honda. Don't supply us beer parlour stories here.
