Have you ever imagined the solution to our great countries problem before? Have you tried to get things right with imagination? I have done that many times as a lover and speaker of one Nigeria and I believe I can inspire your thoughts to know that we can stand together to make a better country.
Imagine a world without race, where all being are known by the blood colour. Imagine a world where religion does not create enemity between us. Imagine a world without ethnicity, where everyone recognises each other as one. A world without tribalism, where tribal acts does not stand against our unity. Though it sounds sarcastic but NIGERIA would have been more peaceful with less security crisis.
A country with over 500 ethnic groups with different languages actually deserve more than what we are seeing today, the best thing that can happen to us when we try to solve a problem entirely is recognizing the root of our problem. I believe majority of the problems we have in Nigeria lies deeply on discrimination and disunity among citizens, when we learn to live together in unity, security threats will reduce then we can join hands together to pursue one goal just like footballers in the field,they have different talents, play different positions but as a team contribute together to score a goal. This is what I think, you can share your thoughts let us learn from you

The question you should be asking about Nigeria is if this union has been worth it? Are we working as a people brought together by the British? Are we Nigerians for the sake of being Nigerians?

I'm an Igbo man and for me, Nigeria is a failed British colonial experiment. I think my people would have done much better on their own than in an unworkable failed union.

This so called "When we learn to live in unity" is nonsense. If after 104 years as a country and almost 60 years as an independentnation, we are still leaning to live in unity, then we are wasting our time

We should be talking about the disintegration of the burning house of Lord Lugard called "Nigeria"

The solution does not lie in the disintegration of Nigeria, it lies in putting an end to tribalism and religious sentiments .Example(I am not being biased o) : the Igbo is a friend to his fellow Igbo..and even at that, some Igbos will tell you ," I am from Anambra, why should I like an Igbo man from Imo? Likwise the Yoruba, Hausa. ..etc. See, let us tell ourselves some home truths : we are too sentimental; especially once it comes to religion or tribalism . Go to America, you cannot see one ounce of tribalism or religious sentiment . Why ? Is it because they more advanced or smarter ? No . They are more unified; their unity lies in their diversity; they put aside custom , religion and even God( if they feel He is interrupting their unity)and rally themselves to fight a common enemy . If Nigerians will copy this template from America, and other developed countries with diverse ethic groups ,then there maybe be hope ,for this failing state called Nigeria
