...but China is weak militarily. China's defence budget is little above $100B while US has over $600B. Yes China is strong economically and do you think that they can risk it by fighting the US which available odds are against them loosing thereby making them to loose all the economic prosperity they have laboured to achieve. Can China sustain a long time war with the US? Of course no. Can China win other wars with some of her neighbors? Yes!! Remember that a thousand miles separate the two countries but US has advantage by building and having her capabilities close to China's backyard. Now just imagine that.

....that will be the flash point of the confrontation. US officials and Pentagon have vowed that they will use a deadly military force on China should the carried out the threat to block the South China Sea.

The same military force is about to be use in Iran for threatening to block the international water ways where billions worth of goods passes on daily basis . If Iran dares it which I am 100% sure that they won't do it then watch out US response. It's simple. Then you will know that 'mouth actions' doesn't win war.
