Hon.Justice Adewale Thompson’s 1969 Judgment on Open Cattle Grazing – Suit no AB/26/66.

Suit no AB/26/66 at Abeokuta Division of the High Court.

“I do not accept the contention of Defendants that a custom exists which imposes an obligation on the owner of farm to fence his farm whilst the owner of cattle allows his cattle to wander like pests and cause damage. Such a custom if it exists, is unreasonable and I hold that it is repugnant to natural justice, equity and good conscience and therefore unenforceable…in that it is highly unreasonable to impose the burden of fencing a farm on the farmer without the corresponding obligation on the cattle owner to fence in his cattle.” Sequence to that I banned open grazing for it is inimical to peace and tranquillity and the cattle owners must fence or ranch their animals for peace to reign in these communities.”

2011: Northern Elders Forum adopted him as a sole candidate and Kwankwaso backed him against Shekarau

2015: Kwankwaso, NEF and the Emirate.

If your messiah is that powerful why didn't he win Kano in 2011 during the gubernatorial? Because he can't win without either Kwankwaso or Shekarau.

In 2011, he got only 7.2% votes for his ward Lawan Jarafu while Kwankwaso defeated Shekarau's boy Salihu Takai with just 62k votes.

So you can see when the 3 went heads on against each other, the only thing he could muster was a pitiable 7.2%.

If I run for Governorship in Kano without any help, I can get over 7.2% that Buhari couldn't.

Oshiomhole is truly the man for the moment,he knows the game very well. By the time saraki is ready to go to his pdp,the kwara state Apc would've stabilized and ready to receive aggrieved pdp members arising from saraki movement to the pdp.

Do you know in the last election, Saraki won Kwara with over 73% of the total votes when Kwara was a State of Interest to PDP?

But now with PDP + Kwara APC, Saraki will be more powerful.

Check Saraki welcome party in Ilorin with Lai's solidarity march for Buhari.

FYI, Kwara APC was dissolved because Lai's meeting with them was not productive. They refused to betray Saraki.
