Talking about a Patient's bill of right without first providing Universal Health insurance for all is putting the cart before the horse.You can't talk about the social aspect of Medicine alone while ignoring the Business aspect.Learn from advanced societies.

We're tired of hearing that Mama Bisi who delivered the 6th set of twins is occupying valuable hospital bed space because she can't pay up and go home. Hospitals are not charity organisations. Private hospitals cannot run at a loss.

Provide adequate manpower, standard equipment and infrastructure, and a functional health insurance before you start passing bills like this.

One after the other...even with the little equipment and staff available,i believe they can still do something if they put passion to what they are doing...some people were denied treatment probably because there was no money to deposit...some hospital will be requesting for police report from accident victim before being attended to....
