An emerging ensemble of legislators referring to themselves as "New PDP Caucus of the House of Representatives", on Tuesday congratulated Speaker, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, on his decamping to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Leader of the group, Hon. Andrew Uchendu (PDP, Rivers), handed down the felicitation in a statement made available to THiSDAY.

"I wish to most heartily congratulate a distinguished member of the New PDP Caucus, our amiable Speaker, His Excellency, Rt. Hon Aminu Waziri Tambuwal CFR, on his historic transition to the APC," Uchendu wrote.

PDP has never seen all the defections. In Abia State, d gov has hijacked the party to install his man Okezie Ikpeazu against the other contenders like Emeka Wogu, Sen. Abaribe, Sen. Nkechi nwogu, sen. chukwumerije , friday nwosu, uche ogah , alex otti etc . the governor wants to go to Senate, his wife house of representatives, his son will be the speaker house of assembly. these aspirants boycotted the congress, but d gov went ahead with the congress. Expect more drama as God liberates Abia State from d gov. as he's about falling out.
