Reacting to Tambuwal’s defection, Senator Aliyu Wamakko said the action of the defectors will not affect the chances of the APC in the 2019 elections. Daily Trust reports that Wamakko and the Sokoto State Deputy Governor Ahmed Aliyu did not leave the APC. Speaking on NTA last night, Wamakko said “Let me assure you that the Sokoto State where I come from is an APC state. The entire state is APC. Whatever you might have seen or might have been told, just take it as a mere story. The people of Sokoto are behind Mr President General Muhammadu Buhari, they are certainly behind Senator Wamakko their former governor, and all other leaders who chose to remain in APC. Insha Allah by Saturday or Sunday when I get back to Sokoto, you will see who is really in charge of Sokoto. Buhari is going down . Affliction cannot rise the second time. In 2015, PDP had just 11 state governors and was minority in Senate while APC had 24 states and majority in Senate YET GEJ GOT 12,853,162 VOTES. Wamakko we know, Tambuwal we do not know. Tambuwal, Saraki, Abdulfatah and Ortom thinks that 2015 scenario will play out again in 2019, after election we'll know that some people just killed their political career as a result of Wike deceit to be called god father and demigod. We told them that APC will win in Kogi they said is not possible APC they didn't learn their lessons. We told them again that APC will win in Edo they argued again APC won.
