Never do Chicken Wing!
Most of the people do this mistake while holding a rifle (firearm whose buttstock is meant to be shouldered)
They raise their elbow very high while holding it, and this mistake is done by approximately 99% of un-trained civilians.

Raising your shoulder such a way can get you shot pretty bad and such muscle memory will land you messing up with your cover and, fatigue in the arm.

I've even seen many policemen and even some newly-trained recruits from army do this. You might go and see SF units/well trained soldiers, you'll see that they will NEVER do the chicken wing style.
