Make I talk my own, in my opinion, a student gaining admission into any tertiary institution in Nigerian whether government or private as far the student is above 18yrs the PVC should be a criteria for gaining admission.

Chairman of the Action Democratic Party (ADP)in Edo State, Mr. George Oloruntobi, has told landlords in the state to issue quit notice tenants without permanent voter cards.

Oloruntobi said voting during election was a civic duty every adult must endeavour to participate in as part of electoral processes.

Addressing party supporters at Uselu, Egor local government area, Oloruntobi said many Nigerians in the northern part of the country including beggars have collected their PVCs.

The Edo APD chairman noted that the northerners were more politically enlightened than the people of the South.

He also urged Southerners to marry more wives and have more children to stop the North from having dominance in terms of highest number of voters during the election.

According to him, “We should endeavor to marry more wives in case of future elections. In the South, we say marry one wife and have four children but in the North, they marry many wives and have plenty of children.

“We should change our attitude towards having small families, we should get more children so that the North cannot continue to lord over the southerners. Those of you who are youths should get marry and have children as well.”

I wonder how a person with a mentality like this is taking a leadership position in a party.

What will be your benefit if the tenants are being kicked out, or does getting a PVC automatically results to supporting your party or even voting.

Tenants in that region should act against that dullard in the upcoming election.

This is how APC, PDP n others have brought sanity to our electoral system. Soon without ur PVC, you'll not be a citizen again

We need a national ID that doubles as a PVC. I know it won't happen because it'll eventually lead to the death of the falsification of results.

How can an old person be talking nonsense, those that are having plenty children with no education is okay by you, you slave driver, i should vote for you after which you will pour me mood on the road. Your god is small and not tobi.

ADP is dead before the election day, majority of the house owners are rich who don't have PVC and wont vote, so what will happen them, should their houses be demolished for not having PVC? With due respect because i don't no your age, i respect age not position, money and education because this are bought or stolen and not merited. You are very very irresponsible person.

Until we have an electoral system in which you can vote anywhere irrespective of where you registered.

Until the problems like security is resolved at our polling stations.

Until the voting and counting processes are being covered live in every polling station which will give more credibility to our elections.

Until those conditions above are resolved, compulsory voting cannot occur in Nigeria.
