My father was a lecturer during same period and his pay was 8,000 naira.

Oh young boys abi girls of these days, as of 1998 my dad's salary as a senior lecturer was 11k ....it was when Abdulsalam came dat he increased it to 19k, later on Obasanjo came and further raised it...be guided.

N150k was like d budget of Lagos state then, my pocket money den was N100 for a term, highest denomination was N20

Not a mistake, N5k was mentioned severally in the interview and even the interviewer had to ask the man " how was he coping with N5k?

Do you know what is N150,000 in 1994?
