Some will be forgotten as soon as the die,who remembers Abacha family..they are even ashamed to come out to the public

Osibanjo have written his name in the bad and evil book!

Shame Osibanjo the truncate of our democracy!
A good example of a typical Nigerian. He was that good and was still voted out. Oponu gbogbo

That "Ogogoro man" was arguably the VERY BEST PRESIDENT & C-in-C the Federal Republic of Nigeria has had TILL DATE. You can't compare him with the present disastrous calamity from Daura.

Yes he was voted out because 15 million Nigerians swallowed the propaganda garbage spewed by the APC without sifting through them to get to the facts, despite warnings from other Nigerians. Have those warnings not come to pass?? Has GEJ not been vindicated??

GEJ was voted out because

1.The recession...due to the drop in oil prices.

2.Corruption...like the missing $20bn, the Stella Oduah case, etc.

3.Several state branches of the PDP were in crisis...plus the nPDP crisis...which split the party.

4. Security...the Boko Haram crisis...and the Fulani Herdsmen crisis...which affected the middle belt.

5.PDP governors in the vital Middle Belt not paying civil service salaries (Benue under Suswam was owing salaries of 9 months by the 2015 election)

6.Dictatorship...the same blockage of the Senate under Buhari happened under PDP...IN 2014. (Tambuwal was at the center of that,...now he is back to PDP....).

7.Some of the GEJ supporters ran a very bigoted campaign....especially against the North and against Muslims...a large voting bloc.

8.Buhari finally learned his lesson....and dropped his bigotry...and started working with other oppositon leaders in other tribes.

And before you call me an APC supporter...I don't care for the APC either. They alienated me once they said that they shouldkeep fuel at N40 per liter....with what I knew of subsidies...I knew that won't be possible.

I also think Nigerians too don't want real good governance...we just want cake. And anyone that gives cake is popular. Which is why we cannot ask Buhari why he isnt doing more to get us off oil...or why we are going back to a party that squandered resources over 16 years.

Re: Goodluck Jonathan Shares His 2015 Quote On Facebook today by ocelot2006(m): 6:13pm On Aug 07, 2018
theoldpretender:
GEJ was voted out because

1.The recession...due to the drop in oil prices. Yeah, drop in oil prices began under GEJ's watch as the Americans pumped in more oil into the global market. But the Nigerian economy began to stagnate and the recession, along with double digit inflation began under Buhari's watch no thanks to his inability to formulate an economic blueprint to guide the nation's economy, or set up a team to implement his non existing policies.

2.Corruption...like the missing $20bn, the Stella Oduah case, etc. The missing N20billion turned out to be false as the independent auditors stated that no such amount was missing. BTW You probably need to compare the 2014 Transparency International Corruption Perception index under GEJ's watch with the 2017 Transparency International Corruption Perception Index under Buhari. In the former, Nigeria appreciated up the index to its highest/best position till date. In the later Nigeria slid down same index to the bottom. Summary: "kworrupt" GEJ performed far better than St. Buhari of Daura in the anti-corruption fight. But hey, please tell us another lie

3.Several state branches of the PDP were in crisis...plus the nPDP crisis...which split the party. True. 'won't argue with that

4. Security...the Boko Haram crisis...and the Fulani Herdsmen crisis...which affected the middle belt. [/b] again partly true. Still everyone forgot that the turn around in the war against Book Haram and he recapture of fallen territories began under GEJ's watch. Remember the #NeverAgain slogan by the military?[/b]

5.PDP governors in the vital Middle Belt not paying civil service salaries (Benue under Suswam was owing salaries of 9 months by the 2015 election) Again true. Susmam was a f#$l

ABSOLUTELY FALSE!! Haba! Rather it was the other way round. What the hell wasn't GEJ called? The amount of vile and venom heaped on him and his family, along with false propaganda propagated by the then opposition was enough to make anyone go crazy in tears. Under this administration the Nation is so polarized along political, tribal, and ethnic lines its simply crazy. Its even on Nairaland with the Igbos and Yoruba's.

8.Buhari finally learned his lesson....and dropped his bigotry...and started working with other oppositon leaders in other tribes. Tell that to the Igbo's and other ethnic groups in the SS. Just look at appointments alone; it's skewed in favour of a single ethnic group. Even the Yoruba's are not so lucky with the Igbo's being the worst hit you'll think Buhari has some personal beef with that tribe. Oh, don't forget his 5%-97% statement in the United States, thus polarizing the nation even further instead of reaching out to unite the nation after the 2015 election. And don't forget the sheer display of nepotism and tribalism by his administration. One last thing, feel free to repeat your statement to those who've lost loved ones in massacres by Fulani herdsmen in the North Central region (Benue and Plateau states particular)

And before you call me an APC supporter...I don't care for the APC either. They alienated me once they said that they shouldkeep fuel at N40 per liter....with what I knew of subsidies...I knew that won't be possible.

I also think Nigerians too don't want real good governance...we just want cake I beg to differ. Nigerians want to enjoy the dividends of democracy, from a thriving economy, more disposable income, better civil infrastructure, great healthcare service, JOBS, constant power supply, freedom, respect for rights, great education, reduced poverty, etc. The PDP definitely had its flaws, but sure as hell was FAR BETTER
than this APC led administration in delivering some of these
. And anyone that gives cake is popular. Which is why we cannot ask Buhari why he isnt doing more to get us off oil...or why we are going back to a party that squandered resources over 16 years.

Corruption is in every country even in USA. GEJ regime was concerned about development and growth while PMB is only concerned about witch hunting, blame game and tenure extension.
Nigeria economy has never been so bad. Foreign gave Nigeria favourable ratings during GEJ era. But now we are even anywhere close to our previous status.

We the youths that are supposed to ensure we remove this dictatorship era of PMB. But the youths are taking different sides based on religion and ethnicity rather than national development.
I weep for this country.
