RE: THE ILLEGAL FROZEN OF ACCOUNT OF AKWA IBOM STATE GOVERNMENT

Our attention has been drawn to an illegal freeze of the account of the government of Akwa Ibom state by agent of the federal government.

We greet this development as a brazen affront on the people and government of Akwa Ibom state and a slap to Nigeria's democracy.

It is unfortunate that Acting President Yemi Osinbajo, a man who claim to be a Senior lawyer will authorise such unconstitutional action in order to bully Governor Udom Emmanuel and the people of Akwa Ibom state into submitting to the servitude of All Progressive Congress.

We interpret this action as a deliberate ploy to unconstitutionally starve Akwa Ibom state of resources to aid ongoing development across the state. We interpret this as a ploy to sabotage the efforts of Governor Udom Emmanuel and his government in order to demoralise him and the administration.

We therefore call on Nigerians to join hands in solidarity with the people of Akwa Ibom state to condemn this illegality and demand for immediate lifting of the frozen order.

Furthermore, we appeal to the National Assembly and the international community to step in and save Nigeria's democracy from being overrun by dictators in suits and agbada.

We hereby declare our unalloyed solidarity to the government and people of Akwa Ibom state in this trying times.

Nigerians should desist from spreading fake news and heating up the polity more. Why should PDP be the party to issue a press statement on issue affecting Akwa Ibom instead of Akwa Ibom corporate communication/secretariat team?

But saraki froze the accounts na. He want to attract public sympathy. Infact DSS, EFCC, Army o, Navy o, civil defense o! even SARS are all working for saraki, the president of Nigeria.

It doesn't matter if public funds were being stolen or if the action is legal. All you are interested is that a PDP state account has been frozen. It is sad when you see people who have everything to lose blindly following others without asking where are you taking me too.
