The gear is not the problem if you ask me. Once the engine is good and there are no other intermittent issues, you should be fine. About 200k should get the AC back. I see shocks and tyres as consumables.

I just have this odd feeling that the engine is not in top shape.... dunno y but it's there

You guys should take it easy with this guy. Bad transmission is not the end of the world. If the engine is good and transmission and AC are the only issues, it is not a very bad case. Moreover, this car is fitted with U151, and not U660.

the seller said 07 model, so its 6speed U660E.

done that job more than once, it is the 13pin U151

And weyreypey the price in ladipo and the price I quote can not be the same. I will give a guarantee on parts and replace if faulty, the market will not.

There's also the Asian version of same transmission which is more reliable come is 5/8pins

If truly is the 13pin version then gearbox should not exceed 200k

All people pricing . It's just penny pound foolish.
If you're offered a clean one in perfect condition for 1.6m you'd complain.
But you want to buy a faulty one which the repairs are unending and possibly spend up to 1.5 million and it doesn't guarantee it's gonna be perfect.
