Gov. Bello's Visit and Gesture is to Motivate you for Selfless Service in Kogi State – ABEL to Corps Members.

"Other Governors should emulate Governor Yahaya Bello".

The closing ceremony of 2018 Batch B, Stream I National Youths Corps Service (NYSC) members who were deployed to Kogi State held on Monday, August 13 at the NYSC camp ground, Asaya, Kabba-Bunu Local Government, Kogi State.

The ceremony which had the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Yahya Bello and other dignitaries across the State in attendance, has been commended by an aspirant for the State House of Assembly (Mopamuro Constituency), Julius Olushola ABEL.

ABEL while extolling the Governor, said his attendance has further confirmed his resolve in prioritising 'Youth Affairs' in the State.

The Governor in his usual magnanimity gave each of the 1,981 Corps Members N10,000.00 each, also announced that they will be paid monthly stipend of N5,000.00 each.

While ABEL said the Governor's gesture is to motivate the corps members for efficient and selfless service in the State, he also added that the move is one to be emulated by Governors of other States.

'Governments of respective State in the country need to take after Gov. Yahaya Bello by revisiting the good old days, where corps members are cherished for better delivery of selfless service', Abel said.

He also charged the corps members to heed to the advise of the Governor and the orientation acquired in camp for their personal development and their respective community of service.

The accommodating people of Kogi State were also asked to expand their hospitality towards the corps members as they arrive their Places of Primary Assignments.

The most useless governor in Nigeria angry

A bad advert for youth as head of government angry

A minority who got into office by Providence and should have been more circumspect but instead ran every goodwill into the ground. 1 single project he can't point to. Even our tree climbing senator would have been more productive as governor angry

100 buhari will.not save you in 2019!! angry
