Apc's Direct Primary:: Reason Why Tinubu Was Excited by Nobody: 2:23pm On Aug 16, 2018
Since the approval of direct primary by Acting President Osinbajo, only tinubu expressed his happiness while state governors did not make a comment. To my surprise, I don't see any nairalanders talking about it. That shows most people on here are either supporting or againsting politicians.

Few minutes ago, I read a news where Yahaya Bello directed all political appointees contesting in next General election to resign. Yet, no one ask why this sudden decision.

Approval of Acting President Osinbajo to direct primary shows that party structure in states has become useless. I don't think any sitting governor in Nigeria has ever lose primary election for 2nd term. Why? Because state governor has structure that select delegates.

Tinubu lost Ondo to Akeredolu and Kogi to Yahaya Bello just because of former APC chairman Oyegun. If indirect primary should continue, that shows Tinubu will never have control over Ondo and Kogi for awhile (including 2019) cause Bello and Akeredolu has the state party structure.

Who is the winner and loser here?? As it stands, I don't see Akeredolu and Yahaya Bello flying APC gubernatorial flag comes 2019. And the winner here is TINUBU.

Any comment?

This has been tested in Osun. And we all know the result (TINUBU WON)

If President say no to direct primary, do you think APC chairman will say YES?

Answer the question he posed to you if President was the one that directed APC to use the direct primary? You are too dull.

For me it was a very smart move by Timubu, any Governor that doesn't perform won't get a reelection, very good move.

Oga OP, Ondo and Kogi elections wouldn't hold during the February/March 2019 General Elections.

Ondo State Governorship election will hold in November, 2020, while that of Kogi is scheduled for November 2019...
