Does noble selflessness and willingness to do the right thing at all costs make a man of INTEGRITY or is there something else?

If there are other things that make a man of INTEGRITY, then we must study a leader like Governor Udom Emmanuel whom everyone at home and in the diaspora recognize as a living example of a man with INTEGRITY.

The problem with the word "INTEGRITY" however, is that some people have refused to believe that a man can posses so much of it and still be a professional in politics. In this case, these people are the ones who don't see anything good in the current administration of the state.

It may interest you to know that Governor Udom Emmanuel's deep commitment to doing the right thing for the right reason, regardless of the circumstances, his relentless honesty, truthfulness and accountability were cited as part of reasons the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) conferred on him the Integrity and National Service Award at the Aso Rock Villa, Abuja.

Akwa Ibom people are known for their integrity, truthfulness and dedication, though some people have in recent times, tried to tarnish that hard-earned reputation through their actions of dishonesty, betrayal and playing politics of bitterness and destruction.

Not only a man of integrity but a man in general is defined by doing what he says he will do.

Despite economic downturn and murky politics at the center, Governor Udom Emmanuel is making huge efforts in moving Akwa Ibom to the next level by practically showing us that the things we once thought were not possible are actually possible with the right mindset in Akwa Ibom.

Though he suffers backlash as a result of his unwillingness to compromise on doing the “right thing”, and his zeal to play politics of development, Governor Udom Emmanuel a.k.a MR. INTEGRITY, is showing no signs of slowing down as he is more determined than ever, to pilot Akwa Ibom into an era of self dependency and sufficiency.

All that is required is your continued support and prayers.

A new Akwa Ibom is possible.
