No Russian ones r similar modernized

( OEM help is necessary for any customisation or upgrade )

Consider it a case of customer specified customisation

Russian gained in terms of r and d and cost cuts which helped them to come up with their own upgrades.

Much like Su30sm etc which were developed through their experience gained from su30mki work.

Yes

57mm is very potent , derived from naval 57mm guns where it was first used if I remember right.

Sits well between low and high calibre and adept for both anti air and anti land applications.

If the ammo is designed right and fitted to the specific roles then it might pack a punch to even put MBTs in to risk ( kind of )

Even 2 days had not passed since Ind... formally announced the decision for human spaceflight that....

BBC ( British bitching cunt ) had to parrot the same old bitching all over again - money can spent else were - poor country - nonsense.

Thankfully the ind... fellow Pallava's response about Britain hiding Vijay Mally's in London with billions of ind... stolen money shut BBC up - perhaps for ever

Western govts hide white collar criminals and the stolen billions from other countries and have the aducity to question others on how they spend their money.

Morons don't realise their r no longer relevant. They will have a heart attack if they realise the no of British companies owned by Ind....

No for safe stage separation and maintaining positive G force during the same.

This is used when a 1st stage solid motor is used in combination with 2nd stage liquid motor or any subsequent stages.

When the second stage liquid motor is fired it takes time ( in the range of milliseconds ) to build up the desired thrust , and during this period missile / rocket thrust needs to be maintained as well as simultaneously the 1st or 2nd stage needs to be pushed away from each.

These is where the retro motors comes in play sometimes incombination with ullage motors, though not necessarily, it depends on the design and requirements.

This missile pic is of Ind... first IRBM Agni TD technology demonstrator which was made by using the solid fuelled 1st stage of SLV and 2nd stage with liquid fuelled Prithvi missile motors.

It was experimental missile used to validate various missile technology like heat shield , re-entry etc etc

All subsequent missiles developed utilized solid fuelled motors only.
