Some quick reactions to Kent Hovind's juvenile arguments:

"The universe is run by laws. Who gave the laws?" Scientific 'laws' are not laws. They are just observations. We call them laws because the terminology was coined by scientists who believed in the existence of a creator. They felt that their consistent patterns they observed in nature must have been decreed by the creator, so they came up with terminology "laws of nature". In fact, scientific 'laws' are just observations.

"Scientists say that nothing exploded to create everything" No, they say that an extremely dense ball of matter expanded rapidly and this led to the universe that we observe around us. It is true that scientists don't know where that compressed ball of matter 'came from'. But scientists have never claimed to be omniscient. The fact that scientists are honest enough to admit that they don't know some things makes them more credible. Religion claims knowledge, but their explanation for everything is to say that "God did it", based on ancient myths.

"These guys have looked for missing links in the fossil record but they can't find any" This is tautological. By definition, once you find a missing link, it ceases to be a missing link. Many species formerly regarded as "missing links" have been found, so they are no longer "missing".

I once asked myself, what is the one thing a religion must fulfil or do for an individual for it to be termed a true religion.

The greatest misconception about religion is that of confusing physical world analogies for the message of religion.
Man is basically a spirit and has a body then a soul to bridge the spirit-body gap.
A lot of stories from religious books are there to teach is about the order of the spirit man's world and how it relates to the physical. Virtues of the spirit world like strength, power, faith, anointing, grace, and wealth operate differently from the physical sense and thus need analogies for us to comprehend them in full.
As long as any man accepts the existence of spirits being or the spirit of humans, to me he has accepted God. It is just a matter of confusion.

NO i myself am an atheist and i did not decide to become an atheist because i wanted to sin.
This your statement is just ridiculous because i became an atheist because i did not see any reason for there to be a supernatural or heavenly dictator to dictate how we live our lives on earth

Its the truth! admit it! You want to add an extra weekend (sunday) to the already stipulated days and play fifa 18. We all know that old trick of saying am sick to ur parents whenever nepa shows up on a sunday morning. Esp if u havent finished that korean movie u were watching the previous day.

I thought I would have finally seen something that will defy explanation.

Instead I got a grown ass man hiding under a carpet. Watch the video again. U will notice they made a concerted effort not to show the whole area that had been under the carpet. Even when the actor took off the yellow carpet, he threw it on the same area and moved it around a bit to conceal any sign of the deception.
There is probably a tunnel that leads from behind the wooden door to the hole from which the man crawled out from. At around 3:29 u can visibly make out his outline as he was climbing out of the hole. And at around 3:42 u can see him obviously scooping something to fill the hole with.
Fake crude nonsense.
