Tinubu supports Buhari to achieve 2023 presidential ambition –Saraki

Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has said that the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, supports President Muhammadu Buhari’s re-election only with the hope that he could succeed Buhari in 2023.

Saraki said this in a statement on Monday in response to an open letter written by Tinubu on Sunday.



Tinubu in his letter had said the Senate President dumped the APC because of his Presidential ambition and selfish quest for power rather than good governance.

If Tinubu is supporting Buhari cos Tinubu wants to be president in 2023, at least he is not deceiving himself or defecting to another party now, unlike you. He, Tinubu has been able to manage his ambition unlike your group of defectors.
