On August 11 and 12 ind... testfired 3 K15 SLBM back to back in full operational configuration from INS Arihant SSBN.

Officially now Ind.. becomes the 6th country in the world after USA, Russia, UK, France and China to have fully operational SSBNs out on deterrence patrol equipped with nuclear warhead tipped SLBMs.

K 4 SLBM estimated range 4000 km
K 5 SLBM estimated range 5000 km
K 6 SLBM estimated range 8000 km
are in various stages of development

I love the T-14 Armata because seeing its picture makes me a happy man.

Just like Martin Luther King - I have a dream where hundreds of T-14 Armata will be lined up in front of the "coven" on 1600 Pennsylvania Ave NW, Washington, DC 20500, USA - and ordered in unison to rain down rainbow-ful sparks of fire that will turn the White House into Black ashes.

On that day, I will be seated on my throne in my village in ijebu, rain will be falling, lightning will be striking, thunder will be clapping & blood will be flowing - but it will be the blood our enemies. grin

I want everybody to bookmark this page so that when it happens, you will remember that a hybrid god from the celestial orbit of Nibiru once prophesied this judgement - and all Nations shall rejoice & give praises unto my name with drums, harps, tabrets, psalteries & instruments of 10-strings!

“Italian company Leonardo announced that the contract of 28 NH90 helicopters signed by Qatar Emiri Air Force enter into force for more than $3.4 billion after making down payment by Qatar including 16 TTHs (tactical transport) and 12 NFHs (naval missions).”

We need missile armed IPVs to deter pirates ?? That’s very wrong sir
We need gun boats in large numbers, thousands.
The navy has several domestic manufactures that can take up this challenge.

The only thing that encourages pirate activity is absence of policing/enforcing force, pirates don’t even engage naval officers because they always loose the fights, they take off once they sight the navy.

We need these madant marine and Epenal boats.

Re: Technical Discussions On International Military Equipments Doctrines Tactics Etc by Nobody:
NAG and HELINA ATGMs

NAG is land launched

HELINA is air launched

Both have custom tweaked IIR seeker with a cryogenic cooling unit.

Difference between NAG and HELINA is the additional presence of a single nozzle booster unit on HELINA.

Why I consider IA to be morons sometimes is becz of their outlandish requirements which is beyond belief.

IA wants a ATGM which can detect track and home in on targets at peak temperatures encountered in desert between 12 o clock and 3 o clock.

During this period of time the temperature is beyond 55 degree C and any equipment like tanks etc out in the open gets so heated up that it's temperature is same as that of the surrounding / background temperature.

No temperature difference between target and surrounding means no ATGM in the world can discriminate between the target and the background noise and therefore will fail to lock on.

As a result javelin and spike failed in the desert trails.

But IA insisted on NAG and HELINA do so , which both did after 2 years of wasting time on R&D.

The important question is which enemy will be stupid enough to send their armoured divisions gallivanting across the desert in the blazing heat during mid day and afternoon unless they r hellbent on suicide.

Their crews will be roasted inside the vehicles and the electronics and thermal systems will overheat and go kaput.

The enemy will send in their tanks only during dusk and dawn which is the best time when tanks and the crews operate optimally and then there is the element of surprise. Traditionally all tank battles have been fought at dusk or dawn.

So much ado about nothing. They might have as well asked for a alien photonic blaster while coming up with the nonsensical demands.

Idiots.

the boats can serve in the creeks, rivers and very near costal regions.

but still we need proper patrol boats for anti piracy missions.

very soon the navy will turn epenal boats to the army's hilux .

Haha you can’t really compare them like that, I think the navy is currently experiencing shortage of personal, they have “proper” patrol boats still waiting to Be commissioned months after delivery.
