About 2 weeks ago, i noticed some rashes on my body.It just started a little from my chest,back and stomach region. I went to my family doctor, she gave me some antibiotics and skin care tube to rub on my body.

My dad gave me an antiseptic soap and cream also to be using with dettol as well. I've finished taking the drugs and I've been applying the creams faithfully morning and night but it seems as though it's gotten worse because it has spread to almost every part of my body, precisely from my neck down to my laps(even my bossom), excluding my face though. It also itches alot.

Please nairalanders, doctors, dermatologist, mods, help me out in order for me to know what this thing really is and how well I can effectively get rid of it. Thanks alot.

It happens to me but not this much. It comes every now and then I have seen dermatologist , some think it's eczema but it's definitely not ring worm. They think I am allergic to something. I think it comes when I drink alcohol

Firstly go do a blood test and from the result you can commence treatment. Stop scratching as it’s resulting to scars instead rub it gentle next time.
From the looks of the rash spread I am vaguely diagnosing an allergic reaction to something you are either eating or bathing or applying to your skin but like I said earlier go do a full blood test.

In the meantime go and buy OTC salicylic acid or any cream contain one (Nixoderm) and applying twice daily. Salicylic acid is very effective in treating such rash but it’s a temporary fix.

See a dermatologist. It's no big deal. Know of someone who had it before but now doing good.

It's not as bad as it looks if it's Wat i am thinking..... My brother once had something like this took some drugs and it dried up.......

What kind of antibiotics and skin care tube did you use?

Bro i had it last month... I took injections and drugs for two weeks it didn't go. I guess it's measles.. Bro just leave it and drink good water or use Red oil to rub your body it will go

Ditch the towel you are using now. It may be related to personal hygiene. Check your wardrobe or bed for signs of humidity or dampness, you might have a fungal infection. When fungus grows on your clothing items, you can get such rashes. I've seen it happen.
