Reports has it that some gunmen forced their way into a clergyman’s apartment and shot Reverend Hosea Akuchi before leaving with his wife, Talatu Akuchi. The incident which happened on Monday at about 1am, has been confirmed by the Kaduna State Police Command.

The spokesperson disclosed that;

“The gunmen came at about 1am; I don’t know how many of them but they were shooting sporadically. We thought they were armed robbers, everybody was scared,” a witness said.

“They wanted to kidnap the pastor, but he was resisting them by struggling with them and they shot him. After killing him, they went away with his wife.”

NAN reported that DSP. Yakubu Sabo, the resident Pastor of the church was shot while struggling with the attackers.

“In the early hours of this morning, information reaching us that some armed men storm the house of Reverend Hosea and attempted to kidnap him,” he said.

“But after struggling with them, they shot him and took away his wife. It is quite unfortunate that while we are keeping the peace we are enjoying in Kaduna, some criminals are doing this to sabotage our collective efforts.

“We have visited the scene of the unfortunate incident and we are trying our best to get to the root of this incident and as soon as we get more information, I will get back to you” the police spokesman said in a telephone interview.”

This is coming few week after gunmen killed the General Overseer of Intercessory Prayer Ministry, Prophet ThankGod Abam also known as The Commander, Onowu 1. It was gathered that the Abuja-based cleric was assassinated by unknown hoodlums, while he was in Port Harcourt for a programme.

Buhari can't secure Nigeria neither can El Rufai secure Kaduna.
I thought El Rufai once boasted of how he paid the killers of Kaduna locals to stop killing them.
The APC clearly aren't securing the country any better than uncle Jo and his fishermen gang did. God help us.
