Mods, you don't 'win' a person, so Ajagba cannot 'win' Curtis. It's wrong grammar and a lot of people make such mistakes.

You can only 'defeat' or 'beat' a person or an opponent. You win a competition or a match.

The principle of the grammar is this: 'win' is used for inanimate things e.g. match, contest, debate, competition. So, guys, stop saying "I won him." Instead, say "I beat him" or "I won the contest."

Another common error on the street is army and soldier. The latter is one individual, and the former is a collective of all soldiers in the force. But I guess fewer and fewer people still repeat this mistake sha.

I knew efe back then in ughelli.. After training he normally drops by the game shop before going home..
With his height and build i dont usually feel comfortable when he stands behind me with his gloves.. I get scared grin
