National Security Cannot Not and Should Never Override Rule of Law

National Security has no definition, it has no limit; it is amorphous and panders to individual discretion. It is the rule and decision of individuals, such as the IGP, or C in C.
The rule of law is defined, basic and even subject to review.

In Nigeria presently, our collective wealth and resources are being pilfered by our leaders in the name of national security.

It is only a person who harbours dictatorial intentions that would canvass national security as choice of governance.

It is a dangerous proposition as we approach 2019.

Buhari have never hidden his disdain for our legislation & judiciary hence the prevalence of executive corruption,impunity & recklessness in this regime.

National security and rule of law are not diametrically opposed

It is the duty of Government to protect the National security within the ambits of the rule of law.

I listened to The Lively Ghanaian president give his Welcome note at the on Going NBA Conference and I must say I am Ashamed of where we are as a Nation... Our Choice of Leaders and our collective Reasoning as a Nation..




I Must also say His Royal highness, The Emir of Kano Mr. Sanusi has no business being an Emir of Kano at this period of The Nigerian Nation.

All over the world national interest takes precedence over individual rights. But such interest are challenged in courts when it seems doubtful that national interest is at stake. Looters and their supporters seek a weak system incapable of defending itself from criminals and their 30 NGN per post crew. Defenders of looting will enjoy this thread since they have little integrity left and zero belief in their own abilities to earn a decent living.

National security cannot be in conflict with the rule of law except the custodian has dictator tendencies.

What constitutes national security should be clear to all and interpretable by the rule of law and not what one man thinks to be right against others.

Buhari with his military background will always twist the issue of national security over the rule of law just to please his inate desires hence will always use national security as a decoy to trample on the rights of the people.

Even courts recognise national interest and security that was the thrust of PMB speech, but since looters and their supporters can not reason because of guilt they come up with senseless statement to always endorse looting. Even US courts rules on the grounds of national security interest of the us against individuals who have been maltreated by US military. I know the only employment you have ever know is defending looters from morning to night and senselessly posting pro looting thread but we will always post you back to reality and educate you.

We turn now to the case of Khalid El-Masri. He is the German citizen who sued the CIA for illegally kidnapping him in Macedonia two and a half years ago. After accusing him of being a member of al Qaeda, the CIA flew him to a secret prison in Afghanistan and held him for five months.

While in CIA custody, El-Masri says he was repeatedly beaten, drugged, roughly interrogated by masked men, detained in squalid conditions and denied access to an attorney or his family. He was only released after the CIA realized they had detained the wrong man, and left him alone on an abandoned road in Albania.

In December, El-Masri sued the United States but last week the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia dismissed the case. Judge T.S. Ellis III ruled that holding the proceedings would jeopardize state secrets.

In a moment we will be joined by Khalid El-Masri’s attorney, Ben Wizner. But first we hear Khalid El-Masri describing his treatment at the hands of the CIA. He spoke publicly for the first time last December shortly after the American Civil Liberties Union filed a lawsuit on his behalf.

God doesn't support stealing, no decent human being will work to defend the honour thieves day in and out, week after week..... But we have an individual who lives for crumbs and has sworn that without crumbs they can't be him, with thieves he can not feed. Nigerians have what I call demonic audacity, read the post of an individual who defends looting,looters and destroyers placing the word Lord, that his lord ( not the God we know who stands for decency) liveth to entrench Corruption. What manner of audacity will a person have to associate God the almighty with such despicable act of theft and mindless looting of not a demonic infested mind of a lazy oaf.
