Igbos Should Fight For 2023 Presidential Slot By All Means - Chris Ngige by naijanewstv(op): 4:04pm On Aug 27, 2018
The former Anambra governor which is now the Minister of Labour and Employment was reacting to a revelation by Senate President Bukola Saraki that Bola Ahmed Tinubu was plotting to take over from President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.

Speaking to newsmen, the minister said there was nothing wrong in Tinubu aspiring to become the president of Nigeria.

Ngige said: "What Saraki was saying is a non-issue as far as I’m concerned. Asiwaju has the right to aspire. He is a human being. All of us have our ambitions. He’s my friend. He has the right to aspire. After all, he aspired to the post of vice president. You can’t kill people’s ambitions. We’re in politics to serve and if you feel you can serve in a very high office, you should aspire to go there.

"It is left for those who are politicking with you to also square up and do their own work if they feel it’s their turn, they should do their own work so that they will be more acceptable than yourself. Power is not served, you must struggle for it.

Ibos can never rule Nigeria. Take this to the bank. They should rather focus on actualizing Biafra. Nobody want Ibos. They are big-headed, big-eyed and disrespectful. They destroyed Jonathan administration with their greed and disrespecful attitude. Ibos are the reason why people hated Jonathan.

Am voting any Party that has Igbo Man as Presidential candidate in 2023 though they are too bittered, vindictive and bigot but I will still be objective with their right.

If that have been case an Igbo should have been the president before now but Nigeria is so badly skewed that hausa/fulani hegemony in agreement with their SW collaborators will never allow that.Ngige so sorry for you.

SE has no political structure.. just mention one SE politician respected outside of his own state..
peter obi is only popular in Anambra
Rochas is infamously popular in IMO
Ogbonnaya onu is only popular in Ebonyi
orji uzor kalu is infamously popular in Abia
I don't know of any heavy weight politician of national importance from Enugu in APC or PDP except just maybe Sullivan
now imagine the kind support buhari has in kano which isn't even his own state also cutting across to other Northwest states and Northeast. I even thought buhari was from kano before
igbos are not meant to produce the president... that's my honest opinion..the lifestyle of igbos don't suit it...igbos even lived independently as communities before the whites came... the Igbo unity is just BC of Nigeria nothing else
in a nutshell, Igbo presidency is not here

It will never be time of east because east have refused to learn their lesson and refused to be smart. You can't keep hating everybody and still expect d same people u hate to vote u as their leader. For the next 100years no Igbo man will smell asorock!
