Well I guess the same reason naive Yahoo boys flaunt their money is why guys on here do it too and the reason is this;
People who are poor, or say, not so rich, tend to want to show off to everyone their new found wealth. It's particularly common among black people. They get satisfaction from the attention which they are sure to receive, from other poor people like them.

It's all psychological. There's a dopamine rush you get when people give you their attention. These people love it when others come begging at their feet. It sort of gives them the authority and levels they would never really have in real life. It's a narcissistic personality behavior.
