The Akwa Ibom state police command has killed four vicious armed robbers in Ikot Ekpene, in Akwa Ibom state. According to a statement by the Nigerian Police and made available to NGHUBS, the operation was led by SP Benjamin Achegbani the DPO Ikot Ekpene in Akwa IBOM State. The statement further revealed that one of the suspects were arrested while fire arms and ammunitions were recovered after a fierce gun battle. A tweet by Nigerian police read “Police Team led by SP Benjamin Achegbani the DPO Ikot Ekpene in Akwa IBOM State, crackdown on a vicious & notorious armed robbery gang terrorising innocent people in Ikot Ekpene and and its environs.
