A Nigerian man has been arrested for allegedly sneaking across the border to live in Sa Kaew’s Aranyaprathet district.

Sa Kaew police chief Pol Col Benjapol Rodsawat told a press conference Monday morning that Dominic Ifechokwu Anigo, 28, was arrested in Aranyaprathet Sunday evening.

He was picked up n front of Wang Pla Tong Market. His passport did not show an entry visa stamp and he was thus charged with unlawful entry into the kingdom.

Lol. In as much as I laugh at comments when there are cases like this, it is very saddening and it affects our reputations all internationally irrespective of our tribes. When you go to any embassy, they don't see you as igbo or Hausa or Fulani neither do they see you as Yoruba or tiv. All thru know is a Nigerian is here. So when an igbo man gets caught for doing drugs and the Yoruba men are celebrating since he's not from the west, it affects them indirectly. When a Fulani man kills and gets arrested, you shouldn't jubilate cos they don't know Fulani or Hausa all they know is a Nigerian has visited. So for all of you jubilating when there is a case like this, keep it up. Na our reputations Dem dey dent and we go all pay for it.
