I went there to make some enquiries and I just know it is near igbesa on a large expanse of land . But Im not familiar with the landmarks in that area as I went in a chartered vehicle whose driver already knew the place.

6. $1bn industrial park (Ogun-Guangdong) Free Trade Zone in Igbesa Ogun State;

I HAVE BEEN TO THAT INDUSTRIAL PARK, EARLY THIS YEAR AND CAN AFFIRM THAT ITS OPERATIONAL.
Bros, please don't join these liars, OGUN_GUANGDONG has been on before 2013 when I started visiting the place.
Moreover since the first quarter of 2015 till now, the only addition there is the new entrance gate, and the completed admin blocks they started in 2014.
I can get pictures of the place next week when I get there.
Even the route from Agbara to Lusada, Atan to Lusada, & Lusada to Igbesa is hell.
Even from Igbesa to Imose & Totowu(towns the complex borders Igbesa with) isn't motorable.
Below are the pictures

U guys ain't getting the drift; the govt tries to borrow unnecessarily and waste time on things that doesn't matter.
The debts are becoming outrageous and unnecessary.
Why borrow money when u had same money but chose to spend it unwisely for cheap political points, monies he PMB will never be ever able to account for how it was used.
Why borrow these monies when the investments by China is yet to be completed?
And when these monies cone, I assure you, you'd still come in here to give same excuses of long duration of projects for them

These are pledges by China but Nigeria has to fulfill conditions for the loans to be despatched. The bottle neck is our national Assembly cutting or reducing counterpart funds or not approving the budget. E.g the Enugu international airport. Budget was cut from 500bn to 20bn in 2018 budget presentation.

National Assembly was the reason why it took Buhari 6 months to appoint Federal Ministers, as well as responding to Benue killings.

In 2016, Buhari went to China.

Nigerians were advised that Nigeria and China had signed deals worth $billions, to refresh, i list the projects..

1. $478.657.941.28 for the construction of 300MW Solar Power in Shiriro in Niger State;

2. $55m agreement between Granite and Marble Nigeria Limited and Shanghai Shibang to construct and equip granite mining plant in Nigeria.

3. $1 billion for the development of a greenfield expressway Abuja-Ibadan-Lagos;

4. $250m in housing to develop a 27-storey complex;

5. $2.5bn Lagos Metro-Rail Transit Red Line Project.

6. $1bn industrial park (Ogun-Guangdong) Free Trade Zone in Igbesa Ogun State;

7. $200m Ogun-Guangdong free trade zone for construction of two 500MT/day float gas facilities;

8. $363m for the establishment of comprehensive farm and downstream industrial park in Kogi State.

9. $525 million for the Mojec International LTD & Microstar Company LTD for television broadcast equipment and production of pre-paid smart meters for electricity consumers.

I have not edited any detail, these projects were announced by the Presidency and re-announced by various Ministers and Media aides.

https://punchng.com/china-trip-yields-over-6bn-investments-says-buhari/amp/

So, what is the status of these projects? its been two years.....is there an industrial park in Ogun? or a new Lagos to Abuja expressway?

I would appreciate a response from anyone in the know, perhaps there is a 300mw solar plant in Niger State, i am unaware of.
God bless Nigeria as you respond with details of these projects.

Why would this administration focus on beginning projects when the past administrations left about 1000 abandoned projects for it to work on?

You are talking about 20 trillion naira yet we have 1000 abandoned projects and common sense did tell you that any money this government borrowed has gone into getting these abandoned projects up and running?

Must we continue abandoning projects?

This is not about initiating one themselves even though they have but this is also about finishing the ones initiated before this government came online.

This is the reason why BUHARI has been fondly nicknamed MR INFRASTRUCTURE as that is one of his main areas of focus.

Most times, the monies are not given. Services which are equivalent to these monies is what is rendered.

Whenever you hear BORROW don't think its all about release of money

You are obviously suffering from sub par intelligence for saying the above.

Every government has a blue print of what to do and these intended projects always have a Q and Q done to ascertain eventual cost.

This is how figures required to implement are arrived at. If such a government does not have the needed financial ability to execute, they then go with project and figures in hand as they shop for credible project financial partners.

If you say this project has been since 2009 and we had a government before this one, did you query the past government which was a successor to prior PDP governments with a total ruling years of 16?

Do you even have the morals to query a 3+ year old government which has been saddled with about 1000 abandoned projects from 16 years of PDP misrule and which has been working with low funds availability unlike those of the previous government which had oil prices at $130pb?
