World economies would grind to a halt if this happened. And people would still find ways around it. Is it not our people that will cut a car in half, ship as parts and join-join when it gets into the country?

The will has to come from the Nigerian government. If the policy to ban the importation of such write off vehicles is put in place and this policy is enforced, the sellers will look elsewhere to dump their write off vehicles.


But there is no harm in trying from your end.

Which california car dealers bought on auction . doctored it up to look good like its something minor. They cut all the airbags. Hide all imperfections and sell to others. At the end you get being burnt after buying .
I've found many cars with rebuilt title in the states which dealer states was just minor repair but they were severly damaged. Charity begins from home.

I don't care what happens in the USA and all the countries you mentioned, that is off little concern to me. I am a licensed dealer in California and I know what the law says about these vehicles here in California.

There are enough opportunities for buyers to do diligent research here in the USA and when that fails there is enough remedy here for them to get remedy in case of fraud. Very little of this exists in Nigeria.

I'm glad you wrote that charity begins at home and hence my concern about Nigeria as that is my focus.

Saraki, Dino, Buhari are not Nigerias issue. Nigerians, average Nigerians are worse cumulatively than all the politicians combined.

You think people here dont envy clean vehicles ? a country whose dollar rate was 165 just yesterday. Which a 2015 camry clean title costing just $11000 won't be above 3million with all duty paid.

if I am bidding for a near scrap 10 Camry that other Nigerians and Mexicans are bidding up to 1000usd before winning..... it's is not wise to proceed....
