On September 28, 2017, Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State declared presidential ambition under the umbrella of the PDP. In fact, he was the first to make declaration.

However today, while other PDP aspirants have started picking nomination forms here and there, nothing has been heard from the camp of Ayodele Fayose. Is he not interested in the position anymore? The public that witnessed the fanfare during his declaration deserve to know the current state of things.

The holy spirit that told him last year that he will succeed Buhari had left him since the Ekiti shellacking. You can't receive such pain and still be dreaming of becoming president. Guy man is only interested in packing whatever can still be packed from Ekiti and then disappear few days to handing over.
