Few months back, Infinix released the Note 5 which was a follow up of the note 4. The Infinix note 5 was and is a complete refresh of the Infinix Note 4 and had major hardware specs and design upgrades, featuring 2018 design ques and hardware specs that seem to fare in a market that is filled with smartphone users that are satisfied with average specs.
Fast forward to September, Infinix has released the Note 5 pro, a pro version of the Note 5, featuring specs that should have made the Note 5 a power house.

In this article, I am going to be comparing the Note 5 pro to the Note 5 to ascertain if the Note 5 pro is a worthy upgrade over the Note 5.

DESIGN
Though the Note 5 pro and Note 5 have round edges, they both feel different in the hand, the Note 5 pro has a full metal body, while the Note 5 has a glossy plastic finish. Taking a judicious look, the Note 5 pro has an entirely new look look on the rear. The Note 5 pro has a matte finish, visible antenna bands, the fingerprint sensor is placed differently and has a different shape.

On the Note 5 pro you have a squared fingerprint sensor and is placed directly under camera with an ash coloured trail engulfing the camera and fingerprint sensor.

On the Note 5, it was an entirely different setup on rear, the Note 5 had a circular fingerprint sensor and was placed on the camera. The Note 5 also had a glossy finish, mean while the Note 5 pro has a sought of matte finish with visible antenna bands.

Instead of just space for the charging port, headphone jack and speaker, the Note 5 pro features a cavity, which it houses it's stylus pen. The stylus pen is the major feature of the Note 5 pro learn more...

VERDICT
Is the Note 5 pro a worthy upgrade over the Note 5? Yes it is a worthy upgrade. Keeping at side the improved ram, storage, the improvement of how the S-PEN is stored when not used is something to keep in mind when purchasing the Note 5 pro.It makes the Stylus of pen Note 5 pro more usable, owing to the fact that you won’t have to carry a bulky case to be able to use the stylus pen on the Note 5 pro on the Go learn more...

This one's are cursed. How can you have lower battery capacity on a fone's pro version while on standard you got higher? Who dies that?

shame on infinix

Marketing gimmick

I'll rather use a Camon X Pro

I feel the battery reduced because they had to create space for the pen, inside the phone. Because of this space, they had to create a battery with a smaller form, hence reducing battery capacity. in other to maintain the same build dimension while housing the pen and battery inside the phone.
