Kudimoney is an online service that makes credit more accessible to users, and at the same provides a beneficial way to save and spend money.

The idea for Kudimoney was conceived by Babatunde “Babs” Ogundeyi who has more than 15 years of experience in finance, banking and technology (he was the Senior Special Assistant on Finance to the Oyo State Governor from 2011 to 2015). Together with his team, Babs hopes to give individuals and SMEs access to loans without stress.

In his words, “For as long as I can remember, I have believed in the ability of using technology to make everyday living easier. This combined with my deep finance and banking experience clearly influenced my pursuit of building a financial institution without boundaries.”

Kudimoney loans are essentially bridge loans (short term means to an end) and users can borrow as much as N1 million for a maximum period of 12 months with interest rates ranging from 0.13% per day to 4% per month. Users are vetted using a proprietary algorithm that helps Kudimoney decide whether or not to grant a loan.
loan. According to Babs, “I’d like to think that we are firstly a technology business then finance. Everything we do has a strong tech play. In essence all the money that has been invested in creating the business is geared towards making money easier to access. We are also integrated with Credit Bureaus and other external partners in helping us take the most informative decision with our risk assets.”

Kudimoney is launching in October, but they already have grand plans for the Nigerian financial market. They’ve partnered with Electronic Settlement Limited (ESL) and are looking to branch out to other services by 2017.

Babs says, “We are currently a licensed lender and are looking to become a licensed bank by 1st half of next year. Prospective customers will be able to get a feel of our current and savings account when we release the Kudimoney prepaid card early next year

Adenike Ogunlesi, founder, Ruff ‘n’ Tumble

Adenike Ogunlesi is a Nigerian woman who founded the brilliantly-named children's clothing business, Ruff ‘N' Tumble, in Lagos in 1996. It has become a great success story and exports along the West African coast.

Adenike Ogunlesi is the founder and chief executive of Ruff 'N' Tumble an indigenous clothing company in Nigeria that specialises in children's clothing. From a tiny shop with her and her mother as the main staff, Adenike aka Nike turned Ruff 'n' Tumble into an instantly recognizable brand. She has built a reputation for being one of the best manufacturers of children's clothing in Nigeria.

"My kids ran out of pajamas. And I used to make clothing for women. So I decided that I'd just make some pajamas for my kids. "

In her second year as an undergraduate law student at the Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria, Adenike opted out of school unsure of what to do with her life. She then reluctantly accepted her mother's invitation to work in her womens tailor shop. That experience helped her to discover who she was and what she wanted to do.She is yet another university graduate that never practiced her profession for one day. Trained as a lawyer at the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, her father had wanted her to get into a high profile legal practice. But that was not to be. She refused to live out her fathers script. But her mother who made quite an in road into fashion in Ibadan in the early 60s and 70s, asked her to stay with her. Within one year, she said she discovered herself.

"I started in 1996, I was selling from the back of my car, I was selling at bazaars. Everywhere, there was a bazaar, I was there, my table and my suit case, my children and sometimes even my husband. So it all started then."

Today Ruff 'N' Tumble is a thriving business with 50 employees and distribution along the West African coast.

"We don't export now. Export to the West African coast, yes, all along the West African coast, yes, but to say, America or to England, I'm not interested in it at all. If 40 percent of the 120 million people in Nigeria are children, I have the potential of a huge market here."

Adenike was featured in the Africa Open for Business documentary and was recognized as the Fate Foundation Model Entrepreneur in 2005.
She is a mentor to Junior Achievement of Nigeria and the Fate Foundation.

......For as long as Igbos are of extreme confidence of their socio-economic potential, and demanding to extricate themselves from you less confidence Yorubas, Igbos are above Yorubas in overall human endeavors. Is only natural for rich countries through their immigration laws to restrict poor people from migrating into their societies because they are better than those poor people, but here, Yorubas who are above Igbos in overall human endeavors are unity beggers with socio-economic advantages tilted towards them. Will they stand a chance with the Igbos if in reverse, the Igbos have the advantages of the major international airport, the major sea port and higher concentration of infrastructure??. Is not a level playing field and the Igbos are still winning.

You are offtrack. There was a time every region had the opportunity to showcase its capabilities, which was the regional system of government. The Yoruba still trounced you Igbos and even had to lend money to Nigeria which included the Igbos 2 times.Ibadan was then the capital of the western region defeating your false insinuation.
Even as you Igbos were perpetually stuck unto the anuses of the Hausa-Fulanis and cornering almost everything cornerable in the political and civil servants' space,Yoruba continued to beat the Igbos hands down by establishing a lot of amenities that Igbos had never dreamt of being possible even Azikiwe said it was not possible for Awolowo to run free education in the South West which the latter did and some Igbos even benefited from this largesse. The long throat and couvetousness of your brothers put Nigeria into this mess.Even abroad,Yoruba still have more successful and massive firms, companies etc more than the Igbos.Yorubas do not make noise like you people and also are not in the markets, shops etc where everybody can see them like you traders but they control industries, firms, businesses, ventures far bigger than yours. We give graces to the Omnipotent Lord.

Igbos have been stuck to the anuses of the Hausa-Fulani since time immemorial even the world knew this.
Read what the whites affirmed:,

The New York Times note that, "Throughout his life, Dr. Azikiwe's alliance with northerners put him at odds with Obafemi Awolowo, a socialist-inclined leader of the Yoruba, the country's other important southern group.″[49] After the war, he served as Chancellor of University of Lagos from 1972 to 1976. He joined the Nigerian People's Party in 1978, making unsuccessful bids for the presidency in 1979 and again in 1983. He left politics involuntarily after the military coup on December 31, 1983. He died on May 11, 1996, at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, in Enugu, Enugu State, after a protracted illness. He was buried in his native Onitsha.

Verify what?. That Igbo per capita income is not higher than yoruba again?. All these "lets fill up the pages" positings doesn't change the facts that Igbos are still leading in most sectors like importation, commerce and industry, transportation, sports, beauty/fashion, education, diaspora remmitances, real estate, indigenous manufacturing. for (2014) ibo 88091 yoruba 103967. For (2015) ibo 86587 ibo lowest and yoruba 114118 yoruba highest. For 2016 the admitted stats is not out yet but Yoruba number of applicants is higher than ibo there too and for the number of applicants is at 330766 to ibo and 364164 to yoruba. and also from 2010 to 2015 overall admitted candidate it was ibo 555,303 and Yoruba 634,180 and it shows over that period 78,877 more Yoruba were admitted so yoruba still leads despite average performance in recent years and despite ibo doing good they cannot enter the 100 thousand mark like Yoruba did 5 out of 6 result

Always igbo and yoruba rivalry.
Yoruba posted this to show superiority over igbos, while igbos are trying to overlook all these achievements and undermine them.

It's so childish

Truth is both tribes are equally outstanding. Have their strengths and weaknesses.

The igbos have the least amount of people living below poverty line (In Nigeria). That means they have individually rich/comfortable life going for them

While the Yorubas have a higher number of multinationals and lower class as well.

My piece.

Whats gdp of all Ibo states combined?

Double it, and you will still be below Ogun in per capita income. Quadruple it, you will be below Lagos.

You guys like to attract negative focus to yourselves. A lot of things we know today about Ibo were made possible through revelations unearthed to dispute challenges like this.

We will bring out info and shame your entire region with just one state in West.

You know, quite honestly, if my fellow Yoruba brothers and sisters will agree....going forward if Ibo throw a challenge to Yoruba we should use states in the North to berate you, cause quite well you are far below us. So i really see no justice in quantifying and qualifying ourselves with you. We are not social peers by any means...we may be cohabiters in one nation but we are superior to you. We will be glad to also show that North is also superior to you by throwing your challenges against their weights to see where you are overall.

beatiegirl:
Always igbo and yoruba rivalry.
Yoruba posted this to show superiority over igbos, while igbos are trying to overlook all these achievements and undermine them.

It's so childish

Truth is both tribes are equally outstanding. Have their strengths and weaknesses.

The igbos have the least amount of people living below poverty line (In Nigeria). That means they have individually rich/comfortable life going for them

While the Yorubas have a higher number of multinationals and lower class as well.

My piece.

Where is , at the bolded coming from Anyways, stats says otherwise. Please don't propagate or say what you can not verify with facts.

Thank you

It's my pleasure to set the record straight with facts. I am so tired of all these N.l gospel of lies that's long been propagated by ibos on N.L as per the statement made by @beatigirl

Totit,
Some of their claims are outright ignorant but there are also many claims purposely thrown out as curveballs to sharpen their own lack of knowledge and history. The last method is what has aided their catchup on a lot of historicals on Nigeria that are yet to make it to google or wiki.

If we divert their inquiries and claims elsewhere, as I suggested, start using North as benchmark to score their claims, you will soon see a drop off in their ego and rebellion against Yoruba.

I caught one in culture discussing Yoruba history. He was believable for almost 10pages before he was diacovered. Thats a risk!
