Yes it's paper route type...this is the number that sent the message 20180723....he's applying for visitors visa.....the thing is that he has gotten the insurance...but the email to send it to was not even given...and I really smell scam..because he did aiico insurance when he submitted his application....but what do you advise him to do.....is there no other way he could track his visa processing?.....thanks so much for your prompt reply....

That number there is for the date the application was sent in; 23 July, 2018. Go and register a profile at the CIC website and link the paper application to his profile there, if that hasn't been done anyways. You should be able to track the application steps better from there. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/account.html click on CONTINUE TO GCKEY and signup there.

I ask again, what exact purpose is that insurance serving in his application process, what exactly please?

Tell your brother not to give any agent his money and more so tell him to resend the same insurance to them since he has done the insurance before.. Please follow OMOBENDEL by linking his application online to know what is going on and to resend the same insurance

Yes, but with a letter of authorization to pick up passport. Let the person you're authorizing to do this have all the papers given to you by VFS. Address the letter to VFS, state your details/application details and reason why you are not able to pick it up yourself, name of person being authorized and maybe relationship to you, type of ID to be used by him/her and the ID number. Sign document with same signature on your International Passport, should be good thereafter....

it has been successfully uploaded but not sent to IRCC cos you've not paid and submitted everything finally. You've only succeeded in uploading them. So go ahead, electronically sign the document and submit and you will see payment option. Luck

1. In filling out the forms, I noticed 2 Family information forms. Which one should I fill? The IMM5707 or IMM5645? One requests for info about applicant's siblings while the other does not.

2. Is $9,500 to $9,600 ok to show as funds for the trip?

3. Must we submit a flight reservation with the application? I was of the opinion that until we get the visa, we are not to make concrete arrangements?

I will be landing in Canada as a PR soon and I want her to accompany us.

2. Fair enough as long as there's proof, if not even too much.... You know the trip's estimated budget, fill it in.

3. Almost compulsory, not a paid one though. Book one and submit alongside the application while it is yet valid. It is mostly to show what your travel plans/itinerary looks like, no biggy....
