Amaechi no pass Wike "wella" but he may be slightly over him in politics by virtue of becoming Governor before Wike BUT no two person can be Governor at the same time in a state.

Amaechi was "virtually" gifted HoA seat while Wike had to win Obio-Akpor LGA seat, one of the richest in Nigeria.

Amaechi was Speaker and Chairman of Speaker Forum while Wike was Chairman of all 774 Local Government Chairmen (both at the same time).

Amaechi and Wike 'collaboed', along with Andrew Uchendu (Senator Rivers East), Magnus Abe (Rivers Southeast Senator) and others to win 2007 primary election BUT and jointly FOUGHT Celestine Omehia to reclaim it. In fact, Amaechi was even in Ghana while Wike, Abe, Uchendu etc were doing the dirty work at home.

Amaechi became Governor and it was natural that he will settle others... Abe got SSG, Wike had Chief of Staff!

in 2011 Abe went to Senate, Wike couldn't go to Senate because the Governor and Senator can't be of same Ikwerre bloc in Rivers East (Sekibo retained his seat), the only thing left was Minister, which Wike got.

2015 Wike capitalised on Amaechi/GEJ feud to pursue Governorship ambition, he wouldn't have dared it if there wasn't crises, he would have either returned as minister or move to the Senate as a riveriner was a natural successor of Amaechi. But the rest is history.

You see that Wike is a force as much as Amaechi and Amaechi is not senior politically to Wike.

I rather keep my personal opinion on Rivers to chest for now due to personal reasons. But Wike isn't "evil" as being painted and Amaechi isn't a "lesser demon" to Wike. Himself and Wike are only lesser demons to Odili.

if Amaechi isn't a lesser demon ,tell me who cleaned Rivers of Odili mess? Was there any form of violence in Rivers before Wike n PEJ brought back all the evil boys? Let us talk with facts. Did Amaechi shed a single blood to reach this stage unlike Wike? While Wike and Gej were using fed might to unleash mayhem, could Amaechi not have used his lil influence to reply them thereby causing mayhem? ...but he preferred to explore saner conflict resolution avenues . Amaechi is just a great leader and a thousand Wike can't match him in any way ( development contributions to Rivers, Education, carriage, discipline, etc) despite all the noise wike is making.

Barca ,let us show education and deal in facts and not unsubstantiated urban legends often peddled by 'illiterates'. I know Rivers like the back of my hand like many places in Nigeria.
There is no better statement that exonorates Amaechi from Odili's years of brigandage than the Judicial inquiry instituted by Amaechi and headed by prominent as well as impeccable characters immediately Odili left government house in 2007. Isn't that an opportunity for Odili to expose Amaechi's involvement and hypocrisy? It is obvious this unsubstantiable Amaechi bashing is a fallout of the scars of the 2015 shocks.
What about Amachree?
If Wike is left unchecked , he lacks the discipline to behave like a sane person ,and who wants to take such chances that led to unprovoked wastes of innocent Rivers lives like the one facilitated by Gej's FG for Wike in 2015? You self can see the writing on wall for Wike in 2019.
