I wonder why policemen now hide their names and numbers by wearing vests and bullet proofs even while on general duties. What is the essence of wearing a uniform if we can't get your name and service number. Is it not the same reason people are asking for SARS to be scrapped, because they kill and Go without having their name and service numbers on their uniforms.
