Just take a look at what you wrote, why can't they experiment with 87/litre or #100/litre.
Re: High Oil Price Pushes Subsidy On Petrol To N65.6 Per Litre by grandstar(m):
Buhari had the golden opportunity of freeing the price of petrol when oil prices were high but refused to seize it with both.

Now, the country is spending 1 trillion yearly on a wasteful subsidy. I am sure this sum is more than is spent on education and health care combined in the budget.

I am sure Dangote is dilly dallying in opening his refinery until Buhari is out of the way. His re-emergence would adversely affect the earnings of the refinery.

Buhari would expect him to be patriotic by selling his petrol at subsidised prices and expecting him to wait endlessly for the difference to be paid up.

I don tire for this country. Fuel price reduce, they say the country's revenue is too small, fuel price increase, they say they cannot sustain subsidy. Abeg which one the government want? Am so tired of this country...Sick leaders everywhere.

So why did he condemn the PDP and Jonathan govt particularly on payment of subsidy? Why did he claim there was nothing like subsidy and ask 'Who is subsidising who?' Why was it so bad whenJonathan raised petrol to 141/litre to do away with subsidy and now u advocate 300/litre?

Because the cost of processing your crude oil is rising everyday and it's not in your favor because you don't have good exchange rates , and while this administration is trying it's best to keep you on the road , all you can do is hate the man who is making all sacrifices to ensure that you use fuel by all means

If i mention Jonathan now , you will complain, he's the only one who sold petrol for 150$/barrel and never thought of repairing or building refineries, he preferred to settle the likes of Tompolo, Dokubo and Yahoo CAN pastor if they threaten him a little bit

That's why we are suffering now

If Dangote completes his refinery right now , i bet he will charge us less to refine our crude oil , but in the process make more money to build more refineries

Dangote refinery costs 10B usd , That's half the amount the cancer patient (Denziani ) took to UK and why Lamido lost his Job

$10B = 3,625,000,000,000 That's ~ 4Trillion but Mama Piss has 1B in her fidelity bank account frozen by EFCC

all these things we are suffering is cause and effect , take it or leave it , i have said my own

Patience Jonathan

increased oil price = wahala
reduced oil price = wahala

what does APC really want?

they should get their economics right
if not GEJ will be the next to be blamed as usual
Re: High Oil Price Pushes Subsidy On Petrol To N65.6 Per Litre by RevenGeMission: 3:36pm On Sep 17, 2018
Let's blame the biggest mumu from the land of Potor who sold crude oil for $150/Barrel and failed to repair or build any refinery even if it's a small one

Dangote refinery is at the cost of $10B , that's half the amount Denziani took to UK

But let's blame Buhari the man who contested thrice and lot and sing praises of men who ran the country to the ground

it makes perfect sense

as long as we keep importing refined crude govt will have to graple with price stability.

petrol will eventually become like cement i can see Dangote taking over the market again
and guess what, he's out to make profit - huge profit for that matter.

but, why is it too difficult for this govt to build new modern refineries, as they earlier promised, during their campaign period? how much 'll a new modern refinery cost, when compared to the huge amounts, they 're wasting on subsidy every year? we 're not even talking about the huge corruption, in nnpc: their audit system always shady and secretive. any way i support them to increase the pump price to even #350 per litre, may be that 'll reset the brains of nigerians and bubu's zombies alike, to the reality that bubu's apc is a scam.

It is like you have not realized we harbor the highest number of people living in extreme poverty.

During Obasanjo time, crude sold for about $75 dollars per barrel yet fuel was 75 naira per litre. The reason why it was cheaper then is our exchange rate was 120 at the end of Obasanjo's tenure.

Who is to blame for the depreciation of the naira? To me it's the government, we elect them to make plans that would make us more productive but they only think about themselves and so the country never grows. During Jonathan's regime most of the growth was because of high oil prices. Nigeria's greatest resource, it's energetic intelligent people are left with bad schools, bad hospitals, no electricity, and no infrastructure to fend for themselves. In fact government thought it wise to introduce entrepreneurship courses without providing any of the other 3 factors of production.
Moghalu wrote a book on how to grow Nigeria and Africa at large. Moghalu is a gem Nigeria cannot afford to miss.
If any politician tries to raise the price of fuel again, they will see war the way Warsaw saw war.
