Yakubu Dogara, speaker of the house of representatives, is currently at the national secretariat of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abuja.

Some constituents of the speaker presented him with nomination forms of the PDP for 2019 election last week, and asked him to pull out of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Dogara had said he needed time to consult with his supporters and some stakeholders.


He is yet to formalise his defection.

Dogara is surely one of the politicians going into political oblivion after the 2019 elections. At present politically nothing seems to be working for him.

This man really thinks he is an heavy weight politician, hope he has seen the tambuwal statement acknowledging how difficult it is in swimming against the tide in the core north even before election.


One thing is certain a lot of featherweight politicians would become irrelevant especially in the north after 2019, if you doubt ask namadi sambo a former governor and VP
